Coaching is a dynamic relationship between equals. It isn’t therapy and it’s not consulting—the coach doesn’t hand out advice. Rather the accountability for moving yourself forward lies with you, and responsibility for providing the insight and challenges to support your growth lies with me.
I listen, inspire, educate, manage, and guide. I ask questions, initiate conversations, share ideas, make requests, help you clarify your thinking and support you in making the tough decisions. I don’t have all the answers. But you do. You are resourceful and capable of supplying your own solutions. I just help you to discover them for yourself.
The number of sessions per month and session length, is determined by the urgency, pace, and need as expressed by you.
Many of my clients meet with me 3 times a month for 40 to 60 minutes. Some meet with me once or twice a month for 2 or 3 hours. I generally work over the phone.
Additional sessions, to transform deep or persistent obstacles and barriers that cannot be addressed in the timeframe of the regular sessions, may be scheduled separately.
Clients pay for each session or monthly by the 1st of the month for regularly scheduled sessions. Payment can be made by check or through PayPal.
A typical coaching relationship is six to eighteen months. However, I have had clients for as long as three to six years. What’s important is not the length of time we work together, but the results we achieve together.
